JO RUDOLPHY STRENGTHENS SKUNK LONDON.

By adding her experience and wisdom to Kate Taylor's at Skunk London, Jo Rudolphy is certain to give the rising company even more momentum.

Jo is not only a great talent spotter, she's someone who will swiftly have the measure of every director on the Skunk roster, and will be able to propose them for projects that even they didn't realise were within their capabilities.

Rudolphy is one of those people who came into advertising via the pop promo scene. She learned the business at Harry Nash and Godman, where she was involved in every aspect of getting promos made, apart from directing!

the demanding business of keeping up with the music scene proved incompatible with the equally demanding business of motherhood, and she decided to made the switch from promos to TVCs. She describes how Matt Brown "took a punt" on her, even though she didn't really have any experience working in commercials and he helped to teach her the ropes.

This was followed by a stint at Riff Raff working alongside Matthew Fone, where she helped find the right projects for a highly talented roster of directors, who were nonetheless in need of careful nurturing.


I feel I know how to develop Skunk's directors and I know which agencies will like them and their work, so it felt like a good fit. And, I love Kate!

A successful period at Another Film Company followed. She was originally recruited to work alongside Nicky Flemming there but her role shifted significantly when Flemming departed not long after she joined.

As much as she enjoyed her time at Another, the lure of working alongside Kate Taylor - whom she'd long admired - proved too great. She talks about each of the directors on Skunk's roster with real excitement, and is clearly relishing the opportunity to learn more about them: "I feel I know how to develop Skunk's directors and I know which agencies will like them and their work," she says, before adding: "So it felt like a good fit. And, I love Kate!"
