HOMESPUN YARNS VOL. 4
10 October 2017

London's Ministry of Sound will host Homespun Yarns for the second year running.

Stitch's short film competition is now in its fourth edition. To mark the occasion, the winner will receive much more than a pat on the back.

This year's finalists will compete for a filmmaker's bounty including Kodak Film Lab support, access to a 16mm Panavision camera, and automatic entry to the 2018 Kinsale Shark Awards. Oh, and £500 in cash - not a bad evening's work.

Alongside Homespun, the likes of The Mill, Freefolk, Mad Ruffian, Time Based Arts, and Cheat have ensured each contestant's film look and sound the part.

Homespun Executive Producer Alice Clarke praises this continued support: "To have so many fantastic companies work with us is a huge compliment and a testament to how far we've progressed with Homespun Yarns."

Meanwhile, Wave Studios are this year's chief sponsor. Founder Warren Hamilton says: "Working with young filmmakers and aspiring talent is key to growing our industry and allows our talent here at Wave to blossom alongside these artists" - like 2016 winner Thomas Ralph.

It's clear everyone's ready to go again this year. The final itself takes place on Thursday 19th October from 7pm to 2am.

The screening party is at:
Ministry of Sound
103 Gaunt Street
London
SE1 6DP

For more information on the event, visit the Homespun Yarns website or contact Alex Coxon at alexc@stitchediting.tv.
