After a fruitful spell in Canada, Newbury's own Edward Andrews is back in the UK with Outsider. The director also joins for representation in the Netherlands, delighting executive producer Si Elborne no end.
"I just knew there was something very special about Edward's work as soon as I saw it," Elborne says. "His eye for composition and detail is astounding, and his knowledge about film craft is second to none. I also knew there was something very special about Edward himself as soon as I spoke to him."
Elborne was taken by Andrews's "passion and ambition, and just knew we'd have fun working together". A commercial reel that contains singing crackers, colourful goblins, and people crashing through walls made his decision even easier.

Outsider particularly enjoyed their new arrival's recent outing for Asana, a software brand that know how disruptive the 'Sunday scaries' can be. The dread before another working week inspires this 45" caper, wherein afflicted employees are pestered by CG imps.
There's no dread where Andrews is concerned, and he can't wait to repay the faith shown to him by Outsider: "It's amazing to be part of a production company that I've followed for so many years. Outsider has a history of incredible storytellers, producing some of my favourite commercials. I'm excited to join the team."
Advertisers jumped for joy in 2019 when it was announced that Love Island, ITV's most cherished controversy magnet, would go from one to two series a year.
