SARA DUNLOP JOINS THE CORNER SHOP

The Corner Shop have announced the signing of Sara Dunlop to their US roster of directors.

Considering she's been shooting and editing her own work since the age of thirteen, it's no surprise that Dunlop's reel demonstrates a chameleon-like ability to find the best style with which to execute a project.

 ”

Dunlop's willingness to take risks both visually and narratively means her films always make for an enthralling audience experience. Her work for children's charity Bernardo's, for example, demonstrates her ability to walk the directorial knife edge of delicacy and power while telling a story without words.


Drawn inexorably to scripts rich with characters and emotion, Dunlop flits effortlessly between genre. Whether shooting fashion films or commercials, this flexible attitude ensures the director cannot be pigeonholed.

The Corner Shop are understandably delighted to count such a talent among their ranks. Co-founder and executive producer Anna Hashmi says: "Sara is an impressive talent, with an accomplished cinematic reel. I have coveted her work for a long time, and am so excited to work with her."
