The child-friendly fashions of Zara come to the fore in this beautifully choreographed ad for the inexpensive retailer from directing team D+Y. A thumping track by Eman Reiff called 'Black Cat White Cat' provides a perfect soundtrack for David Vu's choreography, some of which is performed by DONTSTOP DANCE. East Asian performances can to occidental eyes sometimes be overly regimented, but here the movement is casual and engaging throughout and commands our attention.

This is the kind of advertising that has universal appeal, and even if it was intended to be shown exclusively in specific territories, it deserves a wider audience. Sorcha Shepherd of Caviar has been lionising this duo to anyone who will listen and spoke about them with awe when she was interviewed by DAVID earlier this year... after watching this, it's easy to understand why.
