Witching Hour

Indie rock duo Witch Post (Alaska Reid and Dylan Fraser) aim to beat Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse at their own game with the promo for 'Witching Hour'. Whereas Mortimer and Whitehouse head for rivers and lakes, Reid and Fraser prefer to fish in the comfort of their hotel room. It's a bit of a mess, to be honest, and it's not about to get any better for the cleaners.

Reid picks a spot on the carpet and soaks it with water from the bathroom sink. That somehow causes a hole in the floor to appear, and prompts Fraser to craft a makeshift fishing rod. He must've prayed to Saint Andrew, the patron saint of fishermen, at some point, as he lands fish after fish after fish to lay down next to Reid's hair.

Lord knows what staff would think if they walked in at this moment. For DAVID, it's a memorable introduction to the duo's shared unreality—the music may not leave us spellbound yet, but it's close.
