"Tough Feels Better"

Don't try this at home, kids.

There's a funny punchline at the end of this Australian commercial for VW's off-road vehicles which, wisely has been titled titled the commercial 'tough feels better' rather than 'rough feels better'. It makes the outrageous claim that a woman in the passenger seat would be able to apply her make-up successfully while the car is being driven across rough terrain.

DAVID is going to put his neck out here and suggest that it wouldn't be a good idea to try this for real, but the idea of greater stability nonetheless sticks even if we aren't supposed to take it literally.

(If anyone from VW in Australia wants to stick to their guns and claim the car really would make this possible, please fly us out so we can conduct a proper test in the outback!)
