A practical education.

This is a very unusual approach to selling a university, and that helps it to stand out a mile from the usual campus slideshows that we witness at this time of year. Two young men are attempting the arduous job of moving a sofa up a stairwell – "pivot!" – and, it is fair to say, they are struggling. When a muscular looking fellow asks them if they need help, it appears that they have found their saviour... and they have, kind of.

Director Nick Jones brings his experience and expertise to the project in a fashion that ensures we are curious about this scenario. And that's all that is needed here, curiosity about the scenario, leading us neatly to the denouement, which can surprise and amuse.

Whether it persuades anyone to attend the University of Lincoln is a moot point, but it will at least put the institution in their minds.
