Even Hollywood A-listers are powerless if someone else has nabbed their domain name according to this sensational spot for Squarespace by director Yorgos Lanthimos. The A-lister demonstrating this is Lanthimos's frequent collaborator Emma Stone, who does not take the news well. Her histrionics sit alongside Lanthimos's distinct visual approach to great effect, and the repetition of her discovery provides fantastic emphasis.

The Lanthimos tropes have been piled on top of one another by the director in a fashion that suggests he's more than happy to ape his own style for the advertising dollar, and why not? This is a wonderfully funny and dark piece of work that wilkl probably persuade punters to secure domain names, and if it helps fund its director's next masterpiece then that's a win win.
