On December 30, 2025, Denmark's state-run postal service, PostNord, delivered its last letters. As the brand pivots to parcels like Australia Post, Deutsche Post, and Royal Mail, new—land's Casper Balslev directs-slash-delivers a 90" ode to letters, stamps, envelopes, postboxes, and more with the help of Ellen Hillingsø (Charlotte Soringer in 'The Bridge').

"Over the years," Hillingsø says, "our letters have carried experiences, messages, hope, wishes, and love. But the truth is, us Danes don't send letters like we used to." Other forms of communication have outpaced the humble written note, which still has some distance left to run, you hope. Judicious use of archive footage shows how much times and technology have changed in this sector.

In the present day, Balslev captures the removal of postboxes and how all manner of paraphernalia winds up in a museum. The result is a bittersweet farewell to letters delivered by PostNord at least (another company's bound to step in)—for the brand, it's parcels all the way from now on, for better or worse.
