Endurance praise.

In 1951, Porsche entered the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the first time and won... sort of. Drivers Auguste Veuillet and Edmond Mouche came top of the 1,100cc class, which is pretty good for a first try. Rather than show the entire race (ninety seconds goes down a lot easier than twenty-four hours), director Jack Driscoll and the brand invite viewers to soak up life in the pit lane, 1950s style.

A commercial like this lives and dies by the strength of its production design, so kudos to the way Goran Joksimovic packs as many period details in as possible. Tune into the excited chatter of those invested in the race for whatever reason and you get why Porsche took the plunge when it did. To become the kind of marque kids fight through the crowd to be near, motorsport's where it's at.

Content to dally with historical accuracy for the most part, the brand cannot help but wonder what it would be like if a modern Porsche made a pit stop in the past. We like how the lead mechanic from 1951 reacts to the 2026 model as it touches the tarmac, surrounded by crew members with nary a drop of engine oil on them.
