It's complicated.

As a kitchen roll brand, Plenty knows how messy life can get. Its patience has worn thinner than a cheap paper towel, however, all thanks to what couples get up to in the kitchen these days. It's time for a change, says Plenty, and it's got just the song to help inspire it.

A used tea bag has some wise words to share first: "There's no right way to clean but there’s always somebody who does it wrong." Sure enough, the ad flits between those who tackle spills, splatters, and stains right away and those who let them stick around to form a "grime scene, an apocalypse, a tsunami of muck". Whatever's on the menu, take it off the floor, worktop, or counter!

Clean freaks may struggle to handle such explicit footage, but it takes skill to make a mess look this good. It's also impressive for a song like this to not outstay its welcome—the hope is that absent-minded viewers take these lyrics to heart and show the kitchen some love at long last... aided by a product that's much cheaper than couples therapy.
