"Kittens"

Are you kitten me?

How many kittens does it take to promote the new Peugeot 308? Thirty. That's not a leftover Christmas cracker joke or DAVID's attempt at stand-up, by the way—it's the set-up for a new spot courtesy of directors Julien & Quentin. Through a blend of animal husbandry, smaller-than-life set design, and AI, we get a city where cats represent cars, as you do.

The cast navigate the streets well enough and are cute as can be (we like the one that’s found its way to the car wash), but they embody underpowered vehicles that would be overwhelmed by an apex predator. We're led to believe that same apex predator is… a family hatchback. It does have a lion for a badge, so, er, take that, kittenkind!
