Good Girl
Richard Armitage takes a well-earned break from the Harlan Coben universe to star in a music video for Paris Paloma. The man from Huncote plays a sculptor fixated on the female form. He's got sketches, mannequins, and a real obsessive streak, yet he's never considered what would happen if his next sculpture came to life and picked up a ruddy hammer. Covered from head to toe in grey make-up, Paloma scares the absolute shit out of Armitage's character (be careful what you wish for and all that). Her limbs may be stiff, but she still manages to corner him with ease. Whatever he wanted her to be, the sculpture has no interest in it—once she sinks her teeth into an apple and becomes flesh and blood, he can forget about artistic control. This ties into no-shit-taken lyrics such as "If you call me good girl one more time, then my fist will meet your skull" and "How clever to make a girl's own face the enemy/In the half-light, she'll agonise to be evergreen". Paloma's sick and tired of the male gaze and the harm its' done—try and make her into someone she's not and she'll make you pay.
