A beautiful game.

This beautiful film by Camille Boumans creates an unlikely juxtaposition between women's football and textile making, through the prism of a beautifully made scarf. Utterly compelling from first to last, the film is a celebration of diversity as much as it is a celebration of the aforementioned sport and craft.

Both the choreography and the music add visceral layers to the piece and even an act of expectoration becomes part of the overall joy. DAVID loves unexpected left-field work like this when it pops up on his radar and it's good to be reminded of what our industries' clever filmmakers can do when they're off the leash, and he's reminded of what considerable talent there is in the Netherlands, where they seem to look at the world from a slightly different perspective.
