"Zendaya in Your New Favourite Action Movie"

Street fighting woman.
Does the world have a more compelling public figure than Zendaya just now? It doesn't feel like it. She is so watchable in everything she does and two minutes of archly made martial arts with her at the centre is an absolute treat. She appears to be having a lot of fun, and this fits the campaign motif of 'dream on' rather nicely. She is up against it as a growing number of antagonists look to take her on. Stunt supervisor David Forman and fight choreographer Hélène Tran really put her through her paces and there are moments of authentic violence as she takes on everything that's thrown at her. Any sense of inappropriateness is offset by the mischief in Zendaya's eyes as she urges her opponents to bring it on and the little flick of a smile as they do so. Directors PANTERA handle it superbly well as they pay homage to fight movies from East Asia with obvious affection for the genre. As co-designer of the featured clothes, Zendaya has skin in the game but she seems game for it anyway, and she gets everyone around her to raise their game as well, making it all fun and games all round!
