DAVID's not sure if Nia Archives ran the London Marathon, but she puts in a strong performance in the promo for 'Boys in Blue'. She's not out to smash a PB or break records on her night run—she wants to set the record straight about a relationship that hit the skids ("To think that we once shared a bed/Now ya tryna get me nicked instead").

Hers is a fight-and-flight response, you might say. When she's not jogging to a jungle beat supported by a post-punk bassline, the DJ, producer, and singer looks straight at the camera, keen to remind her ex that they've not got off scot-free. Her run is a cathartic, twilight blur that director Iris Luz, DP Jack Hamilton, and editor Geri Docherty should be proud of.
