Rebellious streak.

It's 2026, in case you hadn't noticed, but the maker of Firefox still wants to get its 2025 'State of Mozilla' report out the door. There's a lot to sift through (it wants to form a "rebel alliance of sorts" and do AI the right way), but if you're short on time or hate 'Star Wars' references, watch this complementary communication directed by Hugh Mulhern instead.

Even if it does cause a driverless car to crash (too distracted by the couple in the backseat, the dirty so-and-so) AI's not the bad guy, says Mozilla. The real villains never let customers peek behind the curtain, never let matters of privacy and consent get in the way of progress, and always want to shape the world for us. It's as if AI's been held hostage by these firms and forced to be a shady rogue agent.

But users can depend on Mozilla to use AI for good, of course. Look at that cute red panda—we can trust it, right? There's even hope for the AI avatar that caused the crash, as the brand offers it a hug and dances with it. Let's see how many Mozilla backers support the idea of AI rehabilitation.
