'Nowhere Fast' by Lucky Daye does go somewhere, you'll be glad to know. Produced by D’Mile, the track features a muggy and measured beat that sets up the slow rush. "They wanna keep your foot on the gas," raps Lucky, but there's no need for it. "If they hate then let 'em hate," he adds, like a man who's seen one too many boy racers take the piss over the years.

Him and director Mollie Mills then team up for a music video that also moves in its own way. Jasmine Albuquerque's choreography is supple, deliberate, and hot to the touch, while Mills hones in on Lucky's own physique with a natty blur effect. It reflects how the artist thinks we should move through the gears—fast enough to get a kick out of it, but slow enough to appreciate the finer details.
