Eins, Zwei, Drei

Sam Battle, also known as Look Mum No Computer, is the latest UK performer brave/stupid enough to enter the Eurovision Song Contest. Keen to do a Sam Ryder instead of a Mae Muller, Olly Alexander, or Remember Monday, Battle (no stranger to DAVID Reviews) has delivered a helter skelter synth-pop track called 'Eins, Zwei, Drei' that we hope gets more than one, two, or three points.

Whatever happens, we'll always have the music video directed by Johnny Goddard. Tune into its strange frequency and there is much to like—perhaps even adore—as Battle's passion for electronics is writ large. He also has a soft spot for seaside towns, it seems, as keen-eyed viewers will spot nods to Ramsgate and Withernsea. If Battle does well in Vienna, we like to think a coastal tour's on the cards.
