Talk It Over

Summer gets a worthy send-off courtesy of Leon Bridges, whose new song 'Talk It Over' is produced by Jungle's Lydia Kitto and J Lloyd. They take any heat left over from the band’s recent album 'Sunshine' and use it to make 'Talk It Over' a true feel-good track, with guitar licks that make you want an ice lolly or a tropical cocktail.

Everyone in D+Y's promo deserves a drink, for sure. With the help of choreographer Luciano Hiwat, directors David Vu and Yasmin Hero deliver a non-stop dance number with shades of Gap commercials and 'West Side Story' (no switchblades, mind you). At the heart of it all is Bridges and his green-and-yellow Adidas top—the MVP of his summer wardrobe.

The stripped-back space chosen by D+Y also helps the costume design and choreography pop, with a bunch of natty green speakers as a bonus. Perhaps Bridges should host more warehouse parties in future.
