Jenny to the rescue.

This Legoland Florida Resort commercial makes a whole lot more sense than 1998's 'Armageddon' In that film, NASA hires a team of oil drillers to destroy a big ol' asteroid, save Earth, and let Ben Affleck marry Liv Tyler. In agency adam&eve\TBWA and director Gary Freedman's spot, an asteroid threatens to destroy the advertised theme park… and they don’t have the budget for a nuclear bomb.

Instead, Lego Galaxy base commander Ted Hearthstone calls Jenny, a young girl who loves Legoland (the way Ted says "So do I" speaks volumes about the man). To ensure others get to enjoy rides like the Galacticoaster, he needs Jenny to do what the Incoming Asteroid Protocol file cannot: avert the apocalypse. She made a picture from macaroni once, so surely she can design a spacecraft right away?

The back and forth between Jenny and Ted as a "balloony blaster flying thingy" comes together is right on the money. Mission control hangs on every word that's said, then uses all manner of larger-than-Lego props to make the ship a reality. Whether Jenny has a pilot's licence or not is a moot point—she's earned her creative stripes, and the brand encourages others to do the same. The Aerosmith power ballad is optional.
