Antihistamine
In the promo for 'Antihistamine', Irish rapper and producer Kevin Smith, also known as Kojaque, bugs out in more ways than one. The Dubliner shares a dingy, godforsaken flat with cockroaches and maggots (he'd get along famously with Harry and Lloyd from 'Dumb and Dumber'), but ask yourself: is the outside world any better right now? Kojaque has questions of his own, like "How you scared of boats full of refugees?" and "They won’t call it genocide/What they really tryna hide?" With no satisfactory answers forthcoming, he raps: "This world's living on borrowed time/And I don't know if I can save it." If society's cooked, maybe it's better to be an insect than a human. Him and co-director Robert Bass think Franz Kafka had the right idea, turning Kojaque into a creepy-crawly à la Gregor Samsa. Unlike poor Gregor, the Irishman's able to express himself and maintain a good moustache. Any pest controller who thinks they can silence Kojaque's got a job on their hands.
