If the UK authorities imagined they would be able to quieten Kneecap after arresting one of their number and tutting from the sidelines as the Irish band conquered Glastonbury, they've got another thing coming. With 'Liars Tale' the band are more defiant than ever, and they land a blow after blow against those who have sought to both censor and censure them.

Although Kneecap temper their ridicule with humour, it doesn't soften their bite. What it does do though is broaden their appeal and ensure that the political ideas which inspire their lyrics are being given a meaningful and effective platform which conservative voices are struggling to stifle.
