I Could Get Used to This

One of DAVID's favourite games of all time, 'Disco Elysium', revolves around a character who, when the shit hits the fan, says: "I wish there was a disco option." After the muted response to her third album, Jessie Ware picked the disco option and hasn't looked back.

In the wake of 'What’s Your Pleasure?' and 'That! Feels Good!' comes 'Superbloom' and its lead single 'I Could Get Used to This'. Like the Grand Disco Inquisitor, Ware asks: "Don't you think it's about that time/To take a moment and seek delight?" Once there, she adds: "Let's stay here for infinity/Pablo silhouette, Venus energy." Suffice to say, you'll miss the last train home.

Another reason to stick around is Fa and Fon's music video, which is part flower show, part fine art, and all so camp. If anyone knows how to hold an apple like a sultry greengrocer, it's Ware.
