The messaging about water use from ITV is important but it's unlikely to land well until the corrupt, greedy leeches who took control of the water companies when they were privatised have their assets stripped. Until then, we will feel as though we are being asked to pay for the dreadful priorities of a generation of fat cats shitting in our water supply, no matter how cheerily the idea is expressed.
