Another day, another investment platform that swears it's different from the rest. The latest is IG, a company that promises to help customers "trade, invest, and progress" in a space that's become too loud, too lairy, and too, erm, catty. By that we mean the brand has a boardroom full of furry fat cats who regard viewers as twits, not traders.

It also takes aim at outspoken, ill-informed traders who flood the internet or hold court down the pub. Mindful of the competition posed by capital upstarts, the brand claims to have over fifty years' worth of experience for punters to draw on. IG thinks that'll help the target audience feel more secure, with zero-commission investments thrown in for good measure.
