IGA

"Interruptions"

29 January 2026

60s

I hear you.

The prices in these IGA spots aren’t unbelievable—they're "can't believable". Directed by Fiona McGee for the Australian supermarket chain, each commercial centres around important matters of the heart and head. Whether it’s a divorcee, a man in therapy, a girl who's been accepted to university, or a young man about to say bon voyage to his girlfriend, all they want is to be listened to.

The other cast members, however, are too distracted by Ferrero Rocher for $12.50, Western Star Spreadable for $5.20, a Temptations mega pack for $8.00, and Bega cheese slices for $6.50 to lend much of an ear. The therapist gets a pass, we reckon—at least she's written down notes like "same issues as last" and, er, a game of noughts and crosses. No catharsis, then, but good news for savvy shoppers Down Under.
