Herman Miller
"Sit Your Best"

Pew entertainment.
As Mr Burns once said: "From the mightiest Pharaoh to the lowliest peasant, who doesn’t enjoy a good sit?" Herman Miller sure does, and this 60" commercial is proof. "Everybody does it: bottom meets chair, feet meet floor," the narrator declares, though he admits children might be too short to nail it right away. Once people have the basics down, however, what happens when they want to lean, spin, fidget, careen, et cetera? Not all chairs are made equal, the brand argues—only Herman Miller ones are "made to love every angle, curve, muscle, and move". To illustrate this, director Max Siedentopf crafts a mixed-media introduction to ergonomics bolstered by zippy choreography not often seen in a chair ad. Humans, animals, X-rays, and more show what a proper seat does for one's posture and mood. When it's time to park your bum, the ad says, splash out and park it in style.
