A perfect distraction.
Director Raine Allen-Miller cleverly makes the most of Aimee Lee Wood's beguiling charm in this ad for HBO Max that has the breakout British actor distracted by the breadth of the streamer's programming. Appearing to go off piste, initially because of her love of HBO series 'Succession', Lee Wood begins adding her own commentary to the clips on a big screen behind her, eventually giving up entirely so that she can simply watch. It's a great way of drawing attention to the fantastic programming on a streaming service which launched in the UK at the end of last month, and has taken the nation by storm. Interestingly, the one programme which is not displayed on the screen is 'The Pitt', which, having shrewdly been held back in the UK by HBO Max, has largely been responsible for its highly successful advent.
