In September 2023, Ginsters unleashed farmer Merryn on the public. Just shy of two and a half years later, the brand takes viewers back to the south-west of England, where Merryn does whatever it takes to ensure ingredients destined for pasties meet the highest possible standards. Her methods are, without a Cornish shadow of a doubt, unorthodox.

It's the perfect excuse for director Florence Poppy Deary to hop between a foul-mouthed scarecrow who looks like a rural Arthur Fleck/Joker, heavy security at the onion patch, and the kind of team talk that turns a farm into a fortress. The highlight, however, is Merryn's approach to taste analysis—if there's a family of four nearby that buys the fruit of your labour, why not have a nosey through the window?
