Thirsty play.
A lot has changed at Xbox over the last few months. Phil Spencer resigned as CEO, AI advocate Asha Sharma took charge, and the whole 'This is an Xbox' campaign was nixed to no one's disappointment. What's not changed is the Microsoft-owned brand's tie-up with Fanta, who, despite all the troubles, must still think Xbox marks the spot. It leads to a slick commercial where 'Forza Horizon 6', 'Halo', 'Call of Duty', 'Diablo IV', and 'World of Warcraft' spill over into the real world. Xbox mascot Master Chief, for example, uses a ship to grab a whole Fanta truck off the road, while a four-armed demon wants all the Crimson Cherry for itself... even if a woman's attached to a bottle. She seems way too relaxed about it all, to be honest. Fanta hopes the quality of the visual assets used draws Xbox owners to branded bottles and cans, though dyed-in-the-wool fans may be disappointed to see 'Fable' and 'Gears of War'—series that helped the brand stand out from the pack in the first place—get the cold shoulder.
