DoorDash
"What's for Hockey?"

The hunger games.
The National Hockey League is back, and that means hockey nights are back, too. Friends and family not only gather to watch the game, but also eat together. When someone asks "What's for hockey?" a whole lot rests on the answer. In director Jack Driscoll's skilful slap shot of a commercial, these decisions are made as players and delivery riders alike zip past on the ice (try not to damage any furniture, lads). OK, so one guy goes through a coffee table, but casual hockey fans are always more fussed about the menu than the game itself, anyway. What matters to the brand is that NHL viewers, however invested they happen to be, are catered for. The effort that's gone into the choreography, set design, and roster—all seven Canadian teams are represented—suggests DoorDash not only gets hockey nights, but aims to feed the hype as much as possible, too.
