Coral

"Rewards Grabber"

18 May 2026

30s

Acceptable in the 80s.

Adland cannot get enough of the 1980s… or the 1980s as seen through neon-tinted glasses, at least. Hot on the heels of 'Rivals'-branded packs of PG Tips and Citizen's car dashboard watch comes a Coral commercial that flits between the present day and the decade of big hair, loud clothes, the Sony Walkman, and more.

Whatever time machine agency Wonderhood Studios and director Ben Dean have access to changes each character's outfit to something more period-appropriate, but leaves their smartphones—and, er, access to Coral's Rewards Grabber games—untouched. The brand likes a lot of things about the 1980s, but not the lack of online gambling.
