Chicken Licken

"General Raj"

You don't mess with the Raj.

Four criminals pick the worst day to rob a bank in this Indian-flavoured spot for Chicken Licken. It's 08:37 in Colaba, Mumbai, and the gang's ready to get out of Dodge. You'd think the cops would send all available units to the area, but why do that when General Raj is on patrol? As director Greg Gray shows, Raj is the only man you want on the case.

Like Mumbai's answer to Random Task (Dr Evil's henchman in 'Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery'), he prefers a shoe to a gun or baton. Once he's taken three perpetrators out in one go, he turns his attention to the getaway driver. The set-up reminds us of the game of chicken scene from 'The Dark Knight', though the way it pans out could not be more different if it tried.

If you thought this was all a bit 'extra', guess what—the brand agrees. Two more hot wings in its SoulMan Load Up is the right amount of extra, which is good news for hungry South Africans and bad news for those who want General Raj to get his own spin-off series.
