R U OK (ft. Tkay Maidza)

Niya Taylor aka Niyadre directs his second promo for BINA in a month (he also did the visuals for 'Zombies' back in April). If 'The Art of Anger' wanted to go out, then 'R U OK?' wants to stay in with the doors locked. No camera mounted on BINA's body today—Niyadre and DP David Witchell have a whole other aesthetic in mind.

Shot in an undecorated flat—unless you count the plants and mounds of soil on the floor—the clip feeds off the brittle, anxious energy of the lyrics ("I'm sorry that I lied, I'm out my fucking mind/Been craving paradise, but I don't wanna die, die") as BINA and her drummer form an uneasy double act. Guest vocalist Tkay Maidza, meanwhile, is in her own monochrome other place... not that she seems that bothered about company ("I was born to not conform, to be a danger/Sharpest thorns are made by nature").
