"Dave"

Ghost town.

First introduced in Betway's 2025 Christmas spot, is Dave now the last man on Earth? It sure seems that way as the bloke wanders through town and does his best impression of Jim from '28 Days Later'. With no sign of life whatsoever, he checks his phone and realises why: the 2026 World Cup is underway at last, and Dave's the only one who missed the memo.

To the strains of 'Stop the Rock' by Apollo 440, he runs to his mate's house like a man possessed (keen-eyed viewers will spot the Tiki-Taka tapas restaurant on the way). Shot with ample energy and a welcome awareness of World Cup kick-off times—the sun's almost down by the time Dave's done— it reminds fans to get themselves organised before the tournament starts on June 6.

After all, the brand would hate to miss out on bets not placed because customers forgot when the games were on.
