Memories

In the promo for 'Memories' by Beabadoobee, director Jake Erland has not one but two sets of twins on the go. As the singer-songwriter performs a track that's bound to strike a chord with wistful night owls ("The smell of rain on the pavement/It's 3 A.M. and I thought of you"), a couple played by Lobke van den Esen and Rayan Zayeri show everyone at Mildmay Club what true love looks like.

Then there's the couple played by Susara van den Esen and Gabriele Zayeri, who are so far past the point of no return, they may not even remember what it looked like when they passed it. As any twin brother or sister knows, it's only a matter of time before a fight breaks out. Not that it distracts Beabadoobee at all—she's much too lost in what already sounds like a new album highlight.
