Savoury notes.
Everyone's in a rush these days. Take the conductor in this Batchelors Super Noodles ad—you'd think the man would savour one of Johannes Brahms's 'Hungarian Dances', but he'd rather get it over and done with. Why? Because he'd rather be eating in four minutes than waving a stick about. Highbrows get hungry too, you know. It’s business as usual at first. The conductor's keen to ensure every note gets the TLC it deserves, only to eye a pot of the advertised noodles through the window of the studio. Thus, he forces the orchestra to play harder and faster than Brahms ever thought possible. Some instruments break, as do a handful of players, all thanks to a conductor who prefers culinary to classical. As silly as a slide whistle sonata, it's a worthy comeback for the brand after many years away. Viewers only have to wait four minutes for a chicken-flavoured fix, however.
