Give it to me straight, doc.

Did you know there's a part of the brain that lights up when you watch sports? DAVID had no idea until this Amazon Fire TV commercial came along. As he waits to see the brand's medical school diploma (just a formality), a doctor asks his patient how long it's been since he's watched a game of American football from start to finish. Thanks to the ridiculous number of apps that cover the NFL to some degree, he's almost brain-dead.

Some doctors might give up on a case as bad as this, but not Amazon’s medicine expert. Director Mike Warzin and his cast nail the silly severity of the situation (we love the warm but professional hand placed on the patient's shoulder), which calls for the advertised product’s one-stop approach to gridiron. The result speaks to viewers who feel like they're playing a losing game and need to wrest back control somehow.
