"Investing isn't for you,” he says, "it's for people like…" Hold that thought, my good man, while a chap rides a giant bell like a jet ski.

He represents a new, er, wave of investors—the kind that refuses to stand on ceremony or kowtow to the old guard. That's why a woman uses her bell to crash an auction, while another guy prefers a bell-shaped rocket pack to a run-of-the-mill private plane. Not even golfers are safe from the new world order (DAVID would like to rent the AJ Bell user's golf cart, if possible).

It's clear that the new breed would never take advice from the gatekeepers. We hope they note the small print—"The value of your investments can go up or down"—at the very least.
