If the likes of DFS, Sofology, and Furniture Village weren't Wolf Alice fans before, they are now. That's because Ellie Rowsell, Joff Oddie, Joel Amey, and Theo Ellis's latest is called 'The Sofa'—an ode to time spent on the settee ("Just let me lie here on the sofa/And put the reruns on TV"). What better way to decompress after a Glastonbury performance like this?

A more, ahem, laid-back affair than 'Bloom Baby Bloom', lush instrumentation and relatable lyrics are matched to Fiona Jane Burgess's lovely, London-set promo. As Rowsell sings, "Feels a little like I'm stuck in Seven Sisters, North London, England/And maybe that's OK," Burgess turns the titular sofa into a mode of transport. Not only is it Ulez-compliant, it allows Burgess to explore how home makes sense when the world does not.
