Bossin' it by the pool.
Are Sam Allardyce, Tony Pulis, and Alan Pardew out of work, or in dreamland? Allardyce left Leeds United in 2023, Pardew departed Aris Thessaloniki a few months prior, and Pulis retired from management in 2020—that's why the three find themselves in an Uber Eats x Sky Sports campaign instead of the dugout. They must be so disappointed, right? Not that much, to be honest. With out of office on and then some, the three of them are happy to catch some rays by the pool and watch the game on the telly ("Looks chilly in Leeds," former Whites manager Allardyce says). It's the life of (Mike) Riley for the three men, complemented by frequent deliveries courtesy of Uber Eats. Every so often, however, that competitive spirit rises to the surface. Take the moment Pardew tries to eat the last falafel, only for Allardyce to swoop in and take it. That's what being a former England manager gets you, even if it was for one match only—an undefeated record is an undefeated record, we suppose. We also like how a game of Scrabble ties into relegation battles and the magic forty-point mark.
