Mud and tears.

This charming commercial for Toyota has a dad using his off-road vehicle to entice his daughter to look away from the screen to enjoy what nature has to offer, albeit in a form that was actually created on a screen.

Director Peter Thwaites has ensured that this is not a preachy message by imbuing the dad with an entirely positive energy, and making the creatures fun... with lots of help from VFX company Preymaker, who concocted them for him.

As we often feel obliged to point out, the reality of owning these cars rarely involves using them in settings like this, but the fantasy is important... and this is an unusually sweet depiction of it.
