Think!
"Drug Driving"

In a spin.
You know it's almost Christmas when a THINK! spot comes our way. For the first time since 2015, the campaign focuses on drug-driving (not an excuse to drink-drive instead by any stretch of the imagination). Agency FCB London and director Jack Driscoll cut to the chase with a guy who snorts a line of cocaine in the driver's seat. As the camera spins around him and the other occupants, the night takes a turn to say the least. Driscoll and DP Benjamin Todd only have thirty seconds to play with, but they sure pack a lot into them. Its all a blur for the protagonist, who's in the car one moment then a medical examination room the next. If he wants it to slow down, the film has other ideas—like a courtroom where he's surrounded by the passengers' angry, devastated relatives. Alone time in his cell offers brief respite before he's whisked back to a scene of carnage. Sweaty, bleary-eyed, and bloodied, he's a sight to behold in the driver's seat. Emergency services would rather not have to deal with people like him over the holidays, so drivers are instructed to draw a line, not snort one. We imagine passengers have a role to play, too.
