Normality is profanity as far as TNT Sports are concerned. If it was up to them, the broadcaster would only cover those who push the envelope, stand out from the crowd, and put on a show—sometimes in that order, but not always. Cole Palmer, the Wizard of Wythenshawe, fits the bill, but the brand also wants to acknowledge left-field greats and part-time heroes.

These include long throw-in maestro Rory Delap, Nigeria and Bolton Wanderers legend Jay-Jay Okocha ("So good they named him twice"), and the Tamworth team that somehow took Tottenham to extra time in the FA Cup. Cult appeal matters in football, and TNT Sports knows it—that's why director Tom Day has a blast with those who make up for a lack of trophies in other distinct ways.
