"Barry Keoghan and Don Mosley"

31 January 2025

1 min 52s

Do the Donkey.

Part one of Squarespace's Super Bowl LIX campaign stars Barry Keoghan and a donkey called Don Mosley. You know it's Super Bowl ad season when a donkey with a forename and a surname sounds reasonable enough. It's also reasonable that a donkey with Hollywood aspirations would need a website… and that's where Keoghan and his laptop come in.

It's a peculiar match-up inspired by 'The Banshees of Inisherin' —perhaps Keoghan wanted more screen time with that film's Jenny the donkey and felt this was a decent compromise. The best moments come from the Irish actor's efforts to write Mosley’s biography ("This is where you lie!"), with a lovely riff from Keoghan about how he pronounces "theatre".

Will DonMosley.com help the donkey reach the big time like Keoghan hopes it will? We'll find out on or just before Super Bowl Sunday.
