FAQ attack.
Diabetes, both type 1 and type 2, is hardcore. Not only does it change your life, it makes other folk curious. It's good to take an interest for the most part, but the same old questions soon get on people's nerves. Director LIAKH wants to help with three spots centred around sex, insulin, and insulin pens (you sense he'd make more if he could). Punctuated by red-and-black supers and heavy metal music, each commercial is a bite-sized Q&A that makes you think, makes you laugh, and makes you scream (in a good way, mind—people underestimate the health benefits of heavy metal). When asked what diabetes does to your sex life, for example, a man takes a break to eat a banana and help his blood sugar levels. His other banana will thank him for it. That's followed by a guy who mistakes the protagonist's insulin pen for a vape, then a chap who learns the hard way what happens when a non-diabetic person takes insulin. The result is not only dead funny, it helps the message stick—no fuss, no muss, no need to ask again.
