Even Dorothy Gale from 'The Wizard of Oz' has bills to pay. In this ad for Australian recruitment firm Seek, she works on the checkout at a supermarket. Thanks to the advertised website (we like to think its main rival is Hide), she's too distracted to notice the queue that's formed, but who can blame her when "the yellow brick road to success" beckons?

Not only is the job based in Oz, it's also pet-friendly—Dorothy's current role forces her to stow Toto under the till. Her colleague Marge (a cute nod to Margaret Hamilton, who played Almira Gulch and the Wicked Witch of the West back in 1939) then asks if there are any work from home opportunities. Dot's reply? "Well, there's no place like working from it.
