"Italian Time: Stanley Tucci"

25 November 2025

3 mins 24s

When Stanley met Diane.

The Cunk is strong with this delightful San Pellegrino commercial starring Diane Morgan and Stanley Tucky Tucci. The former lets Philomena Cunk poke through in her interview with Tucci, who's not completely sure what he's signed up for. She wants to learn about Italian time from a bona fide Italian… only, erm, he was born in Peekskill, New York.

Morgan's a professional, however, so moves on to the questions that need to be asked like "What are you meant to do with panettone?" and "What's your favourite pasta shape: the tube ones or the bowtie ones?" Alan Partridge likes the latter, but Tucci prefers the former as they're more versatile. Morgan's meaty response threatens to steal the whole ad (how anyone keeps a straight face is beyond us).

So what about Italian time, then? Does Tucci have any insights on this temporal anomaly? No, to be honest—he's too weirded out by Morgan's Italian pause to add much, but the two are still irresistible together. We like how San Pellegrino becomes the first liquid Morgan's ever consumed… and it tastes great, wouldn't you know it.
